Wine Club - "The Italia Longtable One" Wednesday 15th February 2023 - 6pm to 8pm Tickets £45 - book now with £20 deposit.

Kickstarting our wine club series, we will celebrate a country that truly loves wine and food with equal passion - Italy of course. Who better than a collaboration with Marco Iacobelli, owner, wine connoisseur and general ambassador of amore from our Bruntsfield BFF Tempo Perso.

The evening will start at 6pm with a welcome glass and be followed with a tasting of four wines, all handpicked by Marco and featuring his favourite wine makers.

The format is truly Italian and will features long tables to allow lots of fun and interaction along they way. Think of this as a visit to your nonna’s for aperitivo hour rather than a lecture on wines!

Relaxed in style, Italy has lots to offer in terms of grape varieties and its proud regionality, but many of us can find it confusing to navigate when it comes to wine selections.

Marco will chat to each long table to run the tasting with his trademark style and panache - a fun but knowledgeable tasting to ensuring our palates are tantalised and you’ll leave with a better understanding of this amazing wine country.

As no Italian tasting could ever be only about the wine we will serve cicchetti, the classic accompaniment to any Italian Aperitivo hour. Featuring Scottish salami from our amici at East Coast Cured, the Honeycomb & Co team will create a feast of nibbles with our usual twist on flavours, all designed to work with the wines.

TICKET PRICE: The full price ticket is £45 for wines & cicchetti. 

Only 30 seats are available so book early with a £20 deposit per person to secure your space (balance of £25 paid on the evening)

Wines will be available to purchase by the bottle and the case at special prices on the evening. Delivery can be arranged for case orders. 

In true Italian style Aperitivo is followed by dinner - if you would like continue your Italian experience, we can reserve tables for dinner at Tempo Perso. Please confirm your party size (any any special dietary needs) in the comments section and we will make the booking for you.

No deposit is required for the Tempo Perso dinner reservation and all tables will be available from 8pm when the wine tasting ends.

Notes; 

As alcohol is being served at this event the minimum age for attendance and participation is 18. No upper age limit applies!

We can cater for gluten free dietary requirements at this event please detail this in the comments section if you have any requirements for this,
